Find your frames

Your camera measures your face for a few seconds, the numbers pick from every frame we make, and the box ships free. Everything is measured in your browser with the same method as our PD tool; the picture never leaves your phone, only millimeters do.

Glasses off, hair away from your jaw, face the camera straight on in decent light.

Your read

A read, not a verdict; faces are not categories. It steers the picks, you steer the box.

Looking through the frames.

The short version, September 2026

This page measures your face with your own camera, in your browser, and picks 3 to 5 handmade frames matched to your measured face width and proportions. The photo stays on your device; only millimeter numbers are used. It is a measurement, not a quiz.

How does the frame finder work?

The tool uses AI face-landmark detection to locate the edges of your irises. The human iris is close to a constant 11.7 mm across adults, which makes it a built-in ruler: from it we convert pixels to millimeters and measure your face width at the cheekbones, your jaw, your forehead, and your face length. Frame width is then matched against your real face width, which is the fit rule opticians use and size charts approximate.

What face measurements matter for glasses?

Face width at the cheekbones is the one that decides fit: a frame's total width should sit within a few millimeters of it. Jaw and forehead width and face length set your proportions, which is what people mean by face shape. Most faces sit between two shapes, so we show the closest read and let it lean the picks rather than rule them.

How is this different from a face shape quiz?

A quiz asks you to guess your own face shape and answers with categories. This measures. The picks come from your numbers against each frame's real dimensions, the same 48 frames we make, each with its measured total width and lens height on file. If your prescription is strong, we also say plainly what it will look like in a given lens before you choose, because every lens we sell is custom-surfaced and honesty beats surprise.

Is my photo uploaded or stored?

No. The camera feed is processed on your device by the same in-browser method as our PD measurement tool and discarded. Only the millimeter numbers are sent, and only to pick frames.

What happens with the picks?

Each pick shows why it was chosen. You can add frames straight into a home try-on box (3 to 5 frames, 7 days at home, free shipping both ways, $10 reserves it and returns as a $10 credit), open any frame's page to see it on your face with the virtual try-on, or email yourself the list.

Vision Insurance Information

How Insurance Reimbursement Works

Unfortunately, we don't have any direct partnerships with vision insurance providers, but we can assist you in getting a reimbursement for your purchase after you have paid in full at the time of purchase. In order to be reimbursed, you will first need to fill out a form from your insurance provider. After you fill out their reimbursement form, you will need to provide an itemized receipt, which we can provide you with once you have completed your purchase. We've provided some links below of popular vision insurance providers to help you get started.

Please contact your vision insurance for more information on how to file for a reimbursement.

If you have any question or you need an itemized receipt, please email us at [email protected]

FSA & HSA Payments

We accept both FSA and HSA payments, as long as they are in the form of a credit or debit card. After you have had completed a purchase with your FSA/HSA, you can then file for a reimbursement with your vision insurance provider.
