Effective July 1, 2026
Welcome to Nerdy Frames. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of nerdyframes.com and everything we offer through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
These Terms include a binding arbitration agreement and a class action waiver in Section 14. They affect how disputes between you and Nerdy Frames are resolved. Please read them carefully.
In these Terms, "Nerdy Frames," "we," "us," and "our" mean Nerdy Frames LLC, which operates out of New York City and Cleveland, with a mailing address of 27300 Center Ridge Rd, # 45294, Westlake, OH 44145. "Services" means our website and everything offered through it. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If you continue to use the Services after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are between 16 and 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 and takes responsibility for the activity. The Services are not intended for anyone under 16, and they are intended for use within the United States.
Some features, including checkout, require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account, so please provide accurate and current information.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the order total. We may limit, cancel, or refuse orders, including orders that appear intended for resale or that we cannot verify. Prices and availability can change, and we may correct pricing errors or cancel and refund an affected order.
Our Home Try-On lets you reserve a box of frames to try at home before you buy.
To fill prescription lenses, we need a valid eyeglass prescription and your pupillary distance. We currently fill SPH from +6.00 to -14.00 and CYL from +8.00 to -8.00. If you order prescription eyewear without having tried our frames, your order may be canceled and refunded, so we recommend a try-on box first.
Shipping is free on try-on boxes, purchases, and exchanges within the United States. Risk of loss and title pass to you when we hand your order to the carrier.
Store credit earned through the home try-on or our introductions program is applied at checkout toward an order. It has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
All content on the Services, including designs, photographs, text, and the Nerdy Frames name and logo, belongs to Nerdy Frames or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use it without our written permission.
You agree not to interfere with the Services, scrape or harvest data, resell the Services, reverse engineer the site, introduce malicious code, or use the Services in any way that violates the law or these Terms.
Nothing on the Services is medical advice. Consult a licensed eye care professional for your vision needs. Product images and descriptions are provided for reference and may not be exact.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or that any content is accurate, complete, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nerdy Frames will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product at issue.
Please read this section carefully, because it affects your legal rights.
You and Nerdy Frames agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury, and the arbitrator can award the same relief a court could on an individual basis.
You and Nerdy Frames waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. Claims may be brought only in an individual capacity.
To begin, the party seeking arbitration must first send written notice of the dispute to the other party. Notice to Nerdy Frames should be sent to Nerdy Frames LLC, 27300 Center Ridge Rd, # 45294, Westlake, OH 44145. The parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute for 30 days after notice is received. If they cannot, the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, with the arbitration taking place in or near Cuyahoga County, Ohio, or conducted remotely where available. Either party may still seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We process orders quickly, so we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order is placed, though we will try to accommodate reasonable requests. Because lenses are made to order, custom orders may not be cancellable once production begins.

Nerdy Frames LLCUnfortunately, we don't have any direct partnerships with vision insurance providers, but we can assist you in getting a reimbursement for your purchase after you have paid in full at the time of purchase. In order to be reimbursed, you will first need to fill out a form from your insurance provider. After you fill out their reimbursement form, you will need to provide an itemized receipt, which we can provide you with once you have completed your purchase. We've provided some links below of popular vision insurance providers to help you get started.
Please contact your vision insurance for more information on how to file for a reimbursement.
If you have any question or you need an itemized receipt, please email us at [email protected]
We accept both FSA and HSA payments, as long as they are in the form of a credit or debit card. After you have had completed a purchase with your FSA/HSA, you can then file for a reimbursement with your vision insurance provider.
