A free browser-based tool for measuring your pupillary distance (PD) — the millimeter measurement online glasses retailers and VR headsets require for setup. Works on Android, iOS, and desktop browsers. No app install, no signup, no upload.
✦This tool uses your iris diameter as a built-in scale reference — the human iris is always 11.7mm. No card or object needed. Simply look at the camera.
Our AI detects 468 facial landmarks, including your iris edges, in real time. By comparing the known iris size to the pixel distance between your pupils, it calculates your PD to within ±1–1.5mm — comparable to the precision typically achieved during an in-store PD measurement. Now that we've measured it, you might as well put it to good use.
I.Find good, even lighting — face a window or a bright light source. Avoid backlighting.
II.Hold your device comfortably — the tool will guide you to the ideal distance automatically.
III.Look at the small camera lens — it's the tiny dot at the top of your screen, above your reflection. Stay still.
IV.When the confidence meter turns green, your measurement is captured automatically.
