1. Free Home Try-on Program: How many frames can I order?
A: With Nerdy Frames free home try-on program, you can order between 3 to 5 frames to try at home. We have a limited amount of frames that are used for home try-ons so if they’re out of stock feel free to use our virtual try-on. We have a 15 day no-hassle return policy. Please review our FAQ for more information.
2.Why is a credit or debit card needed to place an order if the program is free?
A: We need a credit or debit card to ensure a real person is ordering. It also ensures that the try-on frames come back to us so we can shipped them to other clients. Like in any retail business we have to mitigate theft as best as we can. Prepaid cards cannot be used to place an order in our free home try-on program.
3. Do you hold on to my credit or debit card information?
A: No. Once the try-on box is returned your credit or debit card information is purged from our credit card processors database.
4. Do you have a virtual try-on application on your website.
A: Yes, some our glasses are virtual try-on only. We do this for a our limited edition collections. Visit our eyeglasses section.
5. How much time do I get with the try-on frames? Can I order multiple boxes?
A: We allow 7 days per try-on box and we only allow you to order one box at a time. We get a lot of requests for our Try-on boxes and we feel a week is the perfect duration. It also allows others to receive their try-on box within a timely manner.
Vision Insurance Information
How Insurance Reimbursement Works
Unfortunately, we don't have any direct partnerships with vision insurance providers, but we can assist you in getting a reimbursement for your purchase after you have paid in full at the time of purchase. In order to be reimbursed, you will first need to fill out a form from your insurance provider. After you fill out their reimbursement form, you will need to provide an itemized receipt, which we can provide you with once you have completed your purchase. FSA & HSA Payments
We accept both FSA and HSA payments, as long as they are in the form of a credit or debit card. After you have had completed a purchase with your FSA/HSA, you can then file for a reimbursement with your vision insurance provider.
